Before the earth knew noise, before the heart learned to brace, before love became something you measured instead of trusted.. God spoke into the quiet:
“It is not good for man to be alone.” -Genesis 2:18
Not as a correction. Not as a warning.
But as a gentle truth woven into creation itself. Even in Eden, even in perfection, being alone was never the goal. Somewhere along the way, the soul learned to float.
Not to sink.
Not to break.
Just… drift.
It learned how to be composed instead of connected.
How to smile without reaching.
How to call distance wisdom and stillness peace.
But heaven has always known the difference..
“I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have drawn you with loving kindness.” - Jeremiah 31:3
God does not shout the heart open.
He draws it- slowly, patiently- until remembering feels safer than hiding.
There is a quiet that comes from trust,
and a quiet that comes from retreat.
One restores the soul.
The other suspends it.
“In returning and rest you shall be saved.” - Isaiah 30:15
Returning does not mean rushing. It means allowing the heart to turn- just slightly- back toward love.
Avoidance feels calm at first, like dusk settling over the day. But over time, it becomes a long night without stars.
The heart was never meant to live sealed. Scripture does not speak of hearts as stone vaults, but as dwelling places.
“Make your home in Me, as I make Mine in you.” - John 15:4
And from that sacred nearness, love was meant to spill outward- into voices, into presence, into shared breath.
Hidden love still aches.
Unspoken longing still waits.
“Better is open rebuke than hidden love.” — Proverbs 27:5
Some hearts harden because they were once too open. Too sincere. Too willing. But God has never confused softness with foolishness.
“The Lord preserves the simple.” - Psalm 116:6
A soft heart held by God is not exposed- it is kept.
“You are my hiding place.” - Psalm 32:7
You do not need distance when the Lord Himself surrounds you. Love was always meant to touch something deep.
“Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” - Matthew 6:21
The heart follows what it allows itself to care for.
Avoidance keeps the surface smooth, but God moves in the depths.
“Deep calls to deep.” - Psalm 42:7
And deep is where restoration happens- quietly, slowly, tenderly. This is not a command.
Not a push.
Not a demand to trust too quickly.
It is a whisper carried on the Spirit that says:
“You do not have to disappear to be safe anymore.”
“I will be found by you,” declares the Lord. - Jeremiah 29:14
And where God is found, hearts learn how to remain without fear.
A Soft Benediction 🌷🕊️
You were never meant to be untouchable glass- admired, distant, unmarked. You were formed to be alive, to be known, to be held, to be woven gently into love.
“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you.” - Numbers 6:24–26
May your heart stay tender. May your spirit rest. May love feel safe again 🌙✨
With love,
Tina
